HIS to Launch Optional Plan for Using Kaikatsu CLUB with Overnight Buses in Japan
H.I.S. (HIS), a major Japanese travel agency, has updated its response to the situation in the Middle East.
For overseas package tours (Ciao, impresso) and overseas flight + hotel products (organized group tours) that have as their destination Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Oman, or Jordan—countries for which Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a danger level advisory of “Level 2” or “Level 3”—as well as trips that transit through Dubai, Doha, or Abu Dhabi, tour operations will be suspended for departures up to and including April 15.
For customers who have booked overseas air tickets, overseas air tickets + hotel (custom-arranged trips), or overseas hotels, handling will be in accordance with the normal rules and conditions of the respective airlines, hotels, and local tour operators. If special measures are introduced due to a deterioration in the situation, the special rules of each company will apply.
Cancellations made before a decision is announced to suspend operations, as well as cancellations of trips to regions other than those mentioned above, will incur cancellation fees in accordance with the stipulated regulations.
