Conrad Tokyo will collaborate with Swiss watch brand Longines to offer “Sakura Strawberry Afternoon Tea with Longines” from March 1 to April 30.
This special afternoon tea commemorates the “Longines Archive Exhibition: The History of Watchmaking that Weaves Time,” which will be held in Tokyo’s Ginza district from March. The menu is inspired by the jewelry timepiece collection “Longines PrimaLuna,” and features five sweets such as a rare cheesecake topped with a macaron designed to resemble the Longines PrimaLuna dial, strawberry and raspberry mousse expressing watch hands, and a cherry blossom verrine with cherry blossom jelly layered over coconut jelly. Three savory items will also be served, including brioche filled with crab mousseline topped with pasta shaped like a watch dial, and quiche with sakura-flavored bacon and spring vegetables. A special collaboration gift will be prepared for guests.
The venue is the 28th-floor bar and lounge “TwentyEight.” Seating is limited to two hours, and the afternoon tea is served from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Prices start from 7,900 yen, and plans include an option with a Sakura Conrad Bear, a deluxe afternoon tea with a glass of Champagne for toasting and a strawberry plate, and a night tea with sparkling wine or free-flow sparkling wine.
