Vista Hotel Management has carried out a management buyout (MBO) led by its executive team.
MI Management, a company established by Ichiro Iharagi, President and Representative Director of Vista Hotel Management, raised funds and acquired 60% of the shares held by its parent company, YAMASA. YAMASA will continue to hold the remaining 40% stake.
Given the current environment in Japan, where market conditions are changing and technological advancement is accelerating, the company decided to implement an MBO based on the recognition that, in order to further enhance the potential of Vista Hotel Management, it is essential to increase management independence and enable faster decision-making.
Vista Hotel Management was established in September 2006. Under the brands “Hotel Vista” and “Hotel Vista Premio,” the company operates 15 hotels in major cities across Japan.
