Narita Airport to Open Renovated SHIKISAI GARDEN Observation Deck and Relaxation Area on April 9
Air Canada has opened “Air Canada Café” locations in Vancouver and Montreal.
The lounge in Vancouver was designed by the Vancouver-based SmartDesign Group. Its sculptural ceiling is inspired by the shoreline of Stanley Park, and the lighting evokes the organic forms of river rocks. The lounge covers an area of 4,489 square feet and offers 84 seats. It is located near Gates 50 and 51 in the domestic C Concourse. This is the second Air Canada Café location in Vancouver.
The café features a full-service bar that serves specialty coffee prepared by baristas, local craft beer, and wines including “Narrative Red” and sparkling rosé from Okanagan Crush Pad. Popular food options include warm char siu buns, vegan curry buns, freshly made vegetarian kimbap, and sweets from Lee’s Donuts, a long-established donut shop on Granville Island.
In Montreal, the concept is inspired by Montreal’s famous “third-wave” coffee culture. The café serves classic Montreal dishes such as smoked meat sandwiches, freshly baked bagels, and delicious pistachio croissants, as well as vegan soup from Sagamité Watso, an Indigenous-owned business based in the province of Quebec. Beverages include wines from Vignoble L’Orpailleur, gin from Distillerie du Fjord, and craft beers from Montreal-based RJ Brasseur brewery. The lounge has 62 seats and is located in the U.S. departures terminal.
“Air Canada Café” is a café-style lounge being rolled out as part of a program to modernize Air Canada’s global lounge network. Further new openings and renovations are planned.
