
Nankai Electric Railway Extends Credit Card Daily Fare Cap Discount Until July 31
Seibu Railway will operate the “Beer Limited Express 2026.”
A bar counter will be set up inside one Red Arrow Limited Express train set, offering draft beer and other drinks, as well as snacks and light meals. Two drinks will be provided per ticket, and beverages such as Sayama tea and mineral water will also be available. Capacity for each run of the special train is 192 passengers, while some services on June 7 will be limited to 96 passengers each.
From May 29 to 31, a special train will operate between Seibu-Shinjuku and Seibu-Kyūjō-mae (Seibu Stadium) stations. Former Saitama Seibu Lions manager Hatsuhiko Tsuji and former manager Hisanobu Watanabe will board on different days and hold talks on board. On June 6, special trains will run between Seibu-Shinjuku and Seibu-Chichibu stations in both directions, stopping at Koma Station to coincide with the “Seibu Train Festa 2026 in Musashigaoka Rolling Stock Inspection Yard.” On June 7, some cars of the regular limited express “Koedo” will be chartered and operated between Seibu-Shinjuku and Hon-Kawagoe stations in both directions.
The fare is 5,478 yen for services bound for Seibu-Kyūjō-mae, 3,828 yen for services to Seibu-Chichibu and from Seibu-Chichibu to Seibu-Shinjuku, and 3,278 yen for services to Hon-Kawagoe and from Hon-Kawagoe to Seibu-Shinjuku. Reservations will be accepted from 2:00 p.m. on April 7 until 10:00 p.m. two days before the travel date, exclusively via Lawson Ticket’s online booking system. A separate train ticket is required. In addition to the fare, system usage and other handling fees will be charged.
