Ascott to Open Oakwood Oimachi Tracks Tokyo on June 25
Shinjuku Washington Hotel opened its guest-exclusive lounge, “LOUNGE SARYO,” on April 29.
The lounge is located on the 3rd floor of the main building and is designed with the concept of an “entrance experience” where guests can encounter traditional Japanese aesthetic sensibilities and etiquette. The interior is based on earth tones, creating a contrast between light and shadow. Centered around a tearoom made with Japanese cedar, the lounge offers a total of 46 seats, including sofa seats, table seats, and bench seating.
At the counter, staff prepare matcha green tea right in front of guests, and a self-service area offers sweets, tea, alcoholic beverages, and other drinks. Special menus and events will be held in accordance with the seasons and traditional festivities. Accommodation plans that include lounge access benefits will be released in sequence.
The opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with last entry at 9:00 p.m. The fee is 3,850 yen (tax included). The lounge is available only to guests staying in the main building and the annex.
