
Ascott to Open Oakwood Oimachi Tracks Tokyo on June 25
Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay in Japan will collaborate with Lindt chocolate to offer the “Cherry Rose Afternoon Tea with Lindt Chocolate” from May 8 to June 30.
The special dish is the “Cherry and Chocolate Crepe Bouquet,” a cocoa crepe filled with custard and cherry confiture, paired with dark chocolate chantilly cream and fruit. The five kinds of petit gateau include Black Forest cake, rose and cherry jelly, a verrine of chocolate panna cotta made by blending two types of chocolate (milk and bitter), a chocolate and cherry tart, and rose and raspberry mousse with hidden griotte cherry jam. In addition, two types of scones—chocolate and rose—are served with cherry jam, apricot jam, and clotted cream. Savory items include burdock potage, a crepe combining duck with dark chocolate and cherries, cherry and prosciutto quiche, and beet couscous salad.
The afternoon tea will be available at four outlets including the New York Lounge, as well as through in-room dining at the hotel. Prices start from 6,490 yen. Tax included; service charge not included.
