Starlux Airlines will deploy the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on its Taipei/Taoyuan–Phoenix route starting July 2.
The Airbus A350-1000 aircraft is configured with a total of 350 seats: 4 in First Class, 40 in Business Class, 36 in Premium Economy Class, and 270 in Economy Class. The cabin design was created by BMW Designworks USA, based in the United States, with the theme of “Glisten,” evoking a high-quality and sophisticated space. Compared to the current Airbus A350-900 aircraft, this is a larger model, increasing the number of seats by 44.
This aircraft type has been in service on the Tokyo/Narita–Taipei/Taoyuan route since February 10. This will be its first deployment on a long-haul route.
