Kochi Kuroshio Hotel Apologizes Over Monument to An Jung-geun on Its Premises
Hoshino Resorts 1955 Tokyo Bay will introduce a new concept room, the “50s Stardom Room,” themed around American stars of the 1950s, starting July 1.
The guest room measures 38 square meters, accommodates up to four people, and there are two such rooms in total. The area near the entrance is designed like a backstage dressing room, featuring a dresser with a Hollywood mirror, a wall hanger modeled after a jukebox, and stage costumes. The area in the back is a raised, stage-like space equipped with a mirror ball, neon sign, microphone, and a “Gorogoro Bed” for lounging.
Opposite this, there is a sofa area inspired by a 1950s American diner. Outside the window, there is artwork depicting paparazzi, and the room is equipped with a record player that can play music, along with several records. No television will be installed in these guest rooms.
Rates start from 16,000 yen per person, per night, based on double occupancy without meals, including tax. Reservations opened on April 22.
