JAL’s Shohei Ohtani ‘DREAM SHO JET’ A350 Makes Final Flight on Domestic Routes in Japan
easyJet has taken delivery of its 100th Airbus A320neo family aircraft in Hamburg, Germany.
easyJet operates a fleet of 359 Airbus aircraft, more than a quarter of which are neo aircraft. The upcoming deliveries, including the 100th aircraft, will feature Airbus’ latest cabin specification, “Airspace,” characterized by elements such as braille markings on seat row placards and colored lighting in the galleys. Six Airbus A321neo and seventy-five Airbus A320neo aircraft will also be retrofitted to the “Airspace” specification.
The airline will also introduce a “multi-function runway light” system on its new aircraft, eliminating the traditional retractable nose landing gear lights to reduce drag and weight. The engines are CFM International LEAP-1A engines.
This summer, wingtip sharklets will be added to all Airbus A320ceo aircraft in the fleet, and from 2028, the airline will introduce the new ultra-lightweight “Kestrel” seats manufactured by Mirus Aircraft Seating. Furthermore, easyJet is working to introduce lightweight paint across its entire fleet by 2030.
