
IHG to Open Holiday Inn Express Sapporo Susukino on July 17
Plan・Do・See opened the “Southgate Hotel Okinawa” on May 23.
The building has 15 floors above ground and is located inside the Tomari Port Passenger Terminal Building “Tomarin” in Naha, Okinawa, Japan. The hotel offers 216 guest rooms in 13 types, including top-floor suites overlooking the port, two-bedroom rooms, rooms that can accommodate up to six guests, and rooms equipped with kitchens and fully automatic washer-dryers. Some rooms are furnished with private saunas.
Facilities in the hotel include a rooftop terrace, two types of saunas with different temperatures and humidity levels supervised by Mr. Dai Matsuo, a large public bath, gym, kids’ room, laundry, and photo studio.
Dining options include kaisendon (seafood rice bowls) made with Naha tuna, Blue Seal ice cream, Okinawa soba supervised by OKINAWA SOBA EIBUN, a lunch buffet featuring dishes from around the world and an Italian dinner course, as well as Thai cuisine, all served at various restaurants.
Access: approximately a 10-minute walk from Miebashi Station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail, and about an 11-minute drive from Naha Airport.
