Hotel Metropolitan Edmont in Tokyo will offer its Mango & Tropical Afternoon Tea Set from July 1 through September 30.
The sweets selection includes five items: coconut mousse shaped to resemble a real coconut, mango and coconut panna cotta, orange praline cream puffs, coconut cake, and mango tuile. The savory selection features three items: rice croquettes with salsa sauce, a cocktail of summer vegetables and mozzarella, and prosciutto-wrapped sun-dried tomato tapenade. Mango and ginger peel white chocolate scones will also be served, along with a mango mini parfait layered with mango pudding, coconut pudding, and pineapple and passion fruit mousse. Around 20 beverage options, including siphon-brewed coffee, herbal teas, and mocktails, will be available.
The afternoon tea will be served at Dining Café Beltempo on the first floor of the East Wing. Service hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and public holidays. The price is 6,800 yen, including tax and service charge. Reservations are required at least two days in advance.
