
Odakyu’s Veteran 8000 Series Transferred to Seibu Railway, Begins Operations on Kokubunji Line in Late May
JR Kyushu will operate a temporary limited express service from Kagoshima-Chuo Station to Miyazaki Station on July 30.
The service has been arranged in response to the suspension of Kyushu Shinkansen operations for the entire day. It will depart Kagoshima-Chuo Station at 2:45 p.m. and arrive at Miyazaki Station at 4:59 p.m. It will stop at Kagoshima, Hayato, Kokubu, Kirishima-Jingu, Nishi-Miyakonojo, Miyakonojo, and Minami-Miyazaki stations. All cars will have non-reserved seating.
At Miyazaki Station, passengers can connect to Nichirin No. 16 bound for Kokura Station, and at Kokura Station, to Kasasaki No. 201 bound for Saga Station. Hakata Station can be reached at 11:21 p.m.
