AirAsia X will transfer operations of its Kuala Lumpur–Seoul/Incheon route to AirAsia.
From October 25, AirAsia X will suspend operations on the route, with AirAsia taking over. As a result, the aircraft will be downsized from an Airbus A330-300 to an Airbus A321neo. Flight time will be 6 hours and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur and 6 hours and 55 minutes from Seoul/Incheon.
AirAsia X said the move is part of its network optimization. The flight schedule will remain unchanged. Passengers with reservations will be notified by email of the change in operating carrier.
Please note that the Airbus A321neo does not offer Premium Flatbed seats or a Quiet Zone, and the fare difference will be refunded. Pre-booked checked baggage and in-flight meals will be provided as scheduled.
