
ZIPAIR Tokyo to Launch Tokyo/Narita–Toronto Route Within Fiscal Year
Arkia Israeli Airlines will change the operating carrier and aircraft for its Tokyo/Narita–Tel Aviv route.
The airline will operate two round trips per week, departing Tokyo/Narita on Mondays and Wednesdays and Tel Aviv on Wednesdays and Sundays. Flights will be operated with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft configured with a total of 287 seats, including 19 in business class and 268 in economy class. Flight time will be 14 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 12 hours and 15 minutes from Tel Aviv. Aircraft from Bulgaria’s GullivAir will be used.
Although Hi Fly Malta had initially been scheduled to operate the service, the plan had temporarily been changed to operation by Universal Sky Carrier using an Airbus A340-300 aircraft.
