All Nippon Airways (ANA) and IHG Hotels & Resorts will gradually launch a new partnership program from January 2027.
The program will offer three benefits: status matching, double dipping, and reciprocal conversion between miles and points.
Under the status match benefit, members who link their accounts will receive bonus Elite Night Credits that count toward IHG One Rewards status qualification, based on their ANA Mileage Club status. ANA Mileage Club members with “Diamond Service + More” will receive 68 nights, those with “Diamond Service” will receive 38 nights, those with “Platinum Service” will receive 20 nights, and those with “Bronze Service” will receive 10 nights. ANA Mileage Club members without status will also receive credits for five nights.
IHG elite status will be determined based on the combined total of the awarded bonus Elite Night Credits and qualifying nights stayed during the calendar year. Members with “Diamond Service” or “Diamond Service + More” who have no qualifying stay activity during the year can earn an even higher status by completing two qualifying stays themselves after registration is completed.
Under the double-dip benefit, members flying ANA international services departing from overseas (ANA flight numbers operated by ANA) will earn IHG One Rewards points in addition to ANA miles. This benefit is available to members residing outside Japan.
Reciprocal conversion between miles and points is scheduled to begin in February 2027.
Meanwhile, with the launch of the new program, some current services at IHG hotels in Japan will end. These include discounts on stays at IHG hotels in Japan for ANA Mileage Club members; discounts on food and beverages at IHG hotels in Japan for “Diamond Service” and “Platinum Service” members and Super Flyers members; and complimentary breakfast and welcome drinks for ANA Card members (excluding general cardholders) and Super Flyers members.
These services will apply to reservations made by February 28, 2027, and stays used by October 31, 2027.
