United Airlines will launch 8 new routes to Alaska and Canada this summer, adding more than 100 flights daily.
To Alaska, an average of 10 round trips will be operated daily, marking the highest frequency in the past decade. Seasonal round-trip flights from Washington/Dulles to Anchorage and Denver to Fairbanks will commence on May 23.
Routes from New York/Newark to Halifax, Washington to Vancouver, Denver to Winnipeg, and Chicago to Winnipeg & Quebec City will begin operating from May. Additionally, the Denver to Edmonton route and New York/Newark to Montreal will see an increase in aircraft size, along with the resumption of flights from Houston to Ontario. Flights from Denver to Bozeman, Chicago to Toronto & Montreal, and San Francisco to Calgary will also see an increase in frequency.
United Airlines offers more than 150 daily flights from 7 U.S. hub airports to 9 Canadian cities, allowing connections through Air Canada’s network to 25 cities across Canada. There is an increasing demand from travelers wanting to explore scenic destinations such as national parks and mountain towns, and this trend is expected to continue this year.
