Rakuten Group is holding an upgrade promotion until April 30 for the “Sands Lifestyle” membership program operated by Marina Bay Sands, an integrated resort in Singapore.
The “Sands Lifestyle” is a membership program where members can receive benefits for shopping, accommodations, dining, and activities at Marina Bay Sands. The program categorizes members into four ranks based on spending within the facility: Lifestyle, Prestige, Elite, and Paiza.
Rakuten Platinum members can upgrade to Prestige membership, and Diamond members can upgrade to Elite membership. By presenting an app or webpage that can verify their Rakuten membership rank, along with an ID at the “Sands Lifestyle” counter, members can receive a “Sands Lifestyle” membership card corresponding to their membership rank. Singapore residents and those who have previously benefited from the upgrade promotion are not eligible.
By presenting their membership card at eligible facilities, members can enjoy various benefits according to their membership rank, such as early check-in and late check-out at hotels, as well as activities within the facilities, without any additional charges. The upgrade period lasts for three months, and the membership can be extended for nine months when Prestige members spend 1,500 Singapore dollars and Elite members spend 15,000 Singapore dollars.
Furthermore, the travel reservation service “Rakuten Travel” is offering a “Rakuten Exclusive Plan” until December 31, which gives all Rakuten members registered with Sands Lifestyle a 50 Singapore dollar dining credit.
