Emirates Airline will operate 10 additional flights to accommodate the Islamic pilgrimage season.
These flights, aimed at transporting pilgrims to Jeddah and Medina through Dubai, take into consideration the connectivity needs of passengers from key markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, Côte d’Ivoire, Mauritius, South Africa, Senegal, and Pakistan.
To support the pilgrims, a dedicated team will assist with airport movements. Special tags will be attached to luggage, and on June 11, a special gift will also be presented.
In-flight, fragrance-free towels and extra blankets will be provided for those who wish to perform ablutions, and announcements will be made to inform about entering the Al-Miqat zone (sanctuary) and to change into Ihram robes. Upon return, up to 5 liters of Zamzam water (holy water) can be checked in, which will be placed in a special area of the cargo hold.
