Singapore Airlines to Hold Events at Children’s Cafeterias in Four Cities in Japan
Singapore Airlines held events at children’s cafeterias in four Japanese cities from September 19 to 23 as part of “SIA Cares week.
SIA Cares week” is an event in which employees engage in various volunteer activities in more than 50 cities around the world in line with the company’s desire to contribute to the communities in which it flies. In Japan, about 100 children between the ages of 5 and 15 participated in the event at children’s cafeterias in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka, where they learned about Singaporean culture and the work of the company’s staff. They also took part in a variety of activities.
The event concluded with a taste of popular Singaporean dishes such as chicken rice, laksa, satay, and pandan cake. The children had fun while learning through games and food, including the challenge of communicating in English with Singapore Airlines employees from all over Japan.
