Marriott International is set to refresh the Suite Night Awards of its loyalty program, ‘Marriott Bonvoy’.
Starting in early 2024, the award will be renamed to ‘Nightly Upgrade Awards’ and will include five more brands: The Ritz-Carlton and EDITION Hotels, Aloft, Element, and Protea Hotels. However, some The Ritz-Carlton branded hotels will be excluded from the program.
The selection of premium rooms and suites for upgrades, which include features such as oceanfront views, rooms with balconies, and more spacious accommodations, will be expanded by about 20%. Confirmation of upgrades will be available from three days prior to arrival.
As before, this benefit will be provided as an annual choice benefit when reaching 50 and 75 nights per year. The awards can be used for eligible stays that involve redeeming awards or paying for accommodation.
