Nankai Electric Railway and Linktivity Launch QR-Code Digital Tickets for International Visitors
Nankai Electric Railway and Linktivity have started selling digital tickets with QR codes, which include limited express tickets, to international visitors from November 16th.
The ‘Nankai Digital Tickets’ are available for purchase not only on the official website but also through approximately 400 domestic and international agencies contracted with Linktivity. As the first initiative, they began handling the ‘Visit Osaka Rapi:t Ticket.’ The issued QR code allows direct passage through ticket gates.
The ‘Visit Osaka Rapi:t Ticket’ is a digital ticket that bundles a one-way ticket from Namba, Shin-Imamiya, Tengachaya, Sakai to Kansai Airport Station with a limited express ticket for the Rapi:t. You can reserve a specific train any time from the day after purchase until 5 minutes before departure. The ticket is valid for 30 days starting the day after purchase. Priced at 1,300 yen, it offers a discount of up to 190 yen off the regular price. There is no child fare available.
