H.I.S. has entered into a business partnership with Tourism Australia for tourism promotion.
In an effort to expedite the return of Japanese visitor numbers to Australia to pre-pandemic levels and to achieve sustainable growth, the two parties have formulated a selected destination development strategy. They will also collaborate on the development and promotion of travel packages.
Japan sends approximately 500,000 visitors to Australia annually. The destination is popular among a wide range of people, from honeymooners to families, and post-pandemic, the Virgin Australia service from Tokyo/Haneda to Cairns helped H.I.S.’s Cairns tours recover to pre-pandemic levels.
