Marriott International has opened “The Tokyo Edition Ginza” on March 14.
“Edition” is a unique hotel experience tailored to each individual, born from a collaboration between Ian Schrager and Marriott International, redefining the luxury of the past as a one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel brand. It expands to 19 hotels worldwide, making this the second Edition hotel in Tokyo.
The building is 14 stories high. All guest rooms are over 41 square meters, offering six types of rooms including Deluxe Room, Superior Room, Premier Room, Studio Room, Premier Suite, and Penthouse, totaling 86 rooms. The design blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern elements, thanks to a collaboration with world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma.
The Lobby Bar on the first floor offers local roastery coffee, pastries, and fresh pressed juices, also serving breakfast. Amenities include the modern brasserie “Sophie at EDITION” with a Japanese taste, Japan’s only cocktail bar focused on punch, “Punch Room”, and “The Roof,” a rooftop bar where you can enjoy a variety of rare liquors.
Access is a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Ginza Station and Tokyo Metro Ginza-itchome Station.
