Sukesan Udon Opens a Pop-up Restaurant in Tokyo for a Limited Time: July 13 to 15
Ajinomoto Frozen Foods is hosting the “Super Gyoza Station” event, where you can eat gyoza on what is known as the ‘phantom platform’ of JR Ryogoku Station Platform 3, which saw its last regular passenger train service 30 years ago. This event will be held from April 25 to May 8.
Portable gas stoves will be set up on the platform, and visitors can cook and savor frozen gyoza themselves. The menu includes the “Wing Crazy! Realization Set”, which features a bag of 12 gyoza and one drink for 600 yen, and the “Additional Gyoza”, which is just a bag of 12 gyoza for 300 yen.
This event was first held in 2017 and has been held until 2019. The opening hours are from 5 pm to 11 pm on weekdays and from 10:45 am to 11 pm on weekends. An entry ticket or a passenger ticket is required to enter through the ticket gates at the time of admission. Reservations can be made on the website, starting from noon on April 16.
