JR Kyushu Regional Design has opened “Snow Peak YAKEI SUITE ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA” on April 18.
Located within the “ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA” complex, which opened in April 2023, this multi-experiential outdoor facility is produced and operated by JR Kyushu under a franchise agreement with Snow Peak, embodying the concept of “BACK TO NATURE”.
The accommodation features a total of 14 rooms across three types: VILLA, COTTAGE, and TENT. The VILLA and COTTAGE offer an outdoor living space seamlessly connected with the interior, allowing guests to enjoy night views through their characteristically large openings at night. Each comes with a private sauna and plunge pool. The TENT category utilizes special “LAND CAVE” tents, offering a deluxe camping experience amidst the nature of Mount Abura.
Meals are supervised by Michelin-star chef Hiroki Yoshitake, providing a new culinary experience that fuses French cuisine with outdoor elements using ingredients from Kyushu, served in-room. The TAKIBI Lounge offers various drinks including alcohol and light meals, allowing guests to enjoy the night view over a campfire.
Access is approximately 20 minutes by car from Hakata Station and about 15 minutes from the Fukuoka City Highway Tsutsumi Interchange (IC).
