
Hyatt to Open Japan’s First Alila Brand in Sengokuhara, Hakone in 2028
SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL in Tokyo will offer the “Stream Afternoon Tea – VEGE POP –” from July 1 to August 9.
A three-tier stand will be filled with petits fours and savory items made with vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, edamame, and corn, accompanied by a welcome drink featuring a sorbet of red vegetables and fruits and an avocado shake. Beverages include free-flow TWG Tea (8 varieties of tea) and coffee.
In addition, from July 1 to 31, the hotel will also hold a lunch “VEGE POP Fair” with a salad buffet. Guests can create their own Buddha bowls with a salad bar offering multigrain rice, avocado, nuts, and more, along with dishes such as a grilled vegetable burger and chilled pasta with ratatouille and prosciutto.
During the same period, three types of “Vegetable Cocktails” using ingredients like cucumber and tomato will be available: “Caprese Maria,” “Verdant Mist,” and “Bloody Caesar” (each 1,200 yen).
All offerings are available at Bar & Dining “TORRENT.” The afternoon tea is served in two 2-hour seatings: the first from 11:45 a.m. and the second from 2:00 p.m. On Sundays, only the first seating is available. Quantities are limited and reservations are required. Prices are 6,000 yen on weekdays and 6,500 yen on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The VEGE POP salad lunch is available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with last orders at 2:00 p.m. Prices are 2,800 yen for the salad buffet (weekdays only) and from 3,600 yen with a main dish. All prices include tax and service charge.
