NEXCO Central Japan will carry out intensive construction on the Chuo Expressway from May 7 to May 24.
The construction will take place from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on weekdays, with lane restrictions in place between the Takaido Interchange (IC) and Hachioji IC.
As a result, a maximum congestion of 12 kilometers is anticipated in this section from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. During the construction period, alternative routes such as the Tomei Expressway, National Route 20, and Metropolitan Road 14, as well as the use of public transportation including railways, are recommended.
