This annual pass allows stays of up to 12 nights per year at any of the 20 ‘KAI’ onsen ryokan locations across Japan, including two sites set to open this year. Pass holders have the flexibility to spend all their nights at the same facility or to stay at different locations each night.
The pricing is as follows: Plan A for single occupancy is priced at 300,000 yen, Plan B for double occupancy is 600,000 yen, and Plan C for triple occupancy is 720,000 yen. The sales periods are divided into two phases: the first phase from April to June, and the second phase from September to December. The stay period for the first phase is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, and for the second phase is from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
The pass is valid for check-ins from Monday to Thursday, excluding the day before holidays, national holidays, peak seasons such as Golden Week and the New Year’s holiday, as well as each facility’s closing days. Plans A and B allow adding an additional guest regardless of age for 35,000 yen per night, while Plan C allows for one accompanying guest under the age of 70.
Early buyers in the first phase will receive a special perk of an “upgraded special kaiseki meal coupon.”
