ZIPAIR Tokyo has started selling seat change options for flights departing from Tokyo/Narita on July 2.
This option allows passengers to change seats within the same class—either Full Flat or Standard— to a vacant seat for a fee. The fees vary depending on the seat and route, for example, moving within the Full Flat section on Tokyo/Narita to Seoul/Incheon route costs 300 yen, moving to Standard (emergency exit seats and front row seats) costs 1,500 yen, and moving to other Standard seats costs 500 yen.
Moving from Standard to Full Flat is not possible without an upgrade. Payment can only be made using credit or debit cards, and ZIPAIR points are not allowed.
