Hawaiian Airlines and Yamazaki Baking are teaming up to sell collaborative products for a limited time.
Inspired by classic Hawaiian dishes and ingredients, Hawaiian Airlines has supervised the creation of three products: “Lunch Pack (BBQ Chicken-style Hamburger and Potato Macaroni Salad)”, “Lunch Pack (Passion Fruit Jelly & Cheese Cream)”, and “Pine Cream Sandwich Dacquoise”, which will be sold from July 1 to August 31 in supermarkets and convenience stores in the Kanto area.
This is the second time that Hawaiian Airlines has overseen the sale of “Lunch Pack” products since July 2022. Nobuhiro Sakaguchi, the Japan Branch President of Hawaiian Airlines, commented, “We are grateful for another opportunity to collaborate. Through this opportunity, we are honored to deliver the taste of Hawaii, the home base of Hawaiian Airlines, to many people. We hope that enjoying popular local flavors like huli huli chicken and passion fruit can serve as a reminder of trips to Hawaii.”
To celebrate the launch, passengers on flight HA458 from Tokyo/Haneda to Honolulu on July 1 received a surprise gift of a flower lei.
