Cathay Pacific Airways: Low-altitude Flight for Airport Development Centennial at Victoria Harbour
Starlux Airlines has collaborated with Hong Kong Tramways to introduce a tramcar with a joint livery.
To celebrate the launch of the Taipei/Taoyuan to Hong Kong route on July 16, a retro-style tramcar has been adorned with aircraft and peanut character liveries. It will operate until September.
Plans are underway to offer experiences that combine both air and land transportation, such as the one-day “Starlux Tram Panoramic Tour.” On July 20, cabin crew will guide passengers from Sheung Wan to Causeway Bay, and souvenirs will be presented to passengers.
Hong Kong Tramways, operational since 1904, currently holds a fleet of 165 tramcars, including the Party Tram. It is the world’s largest double-decker tram system, serving 200,000 passengers daily.
