Aeromexico will change some of its flights on the Mexico City – Tokyo/Narita route to include a stop in Monterrey, starting July 11.
The airline currently operates a round trip daily between Tokyo/Narita and Mexico City using the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. From July 11, flights departing from Mexico City from Wednesday to Sunday will be changed to include a stop in Monterrey. Flights departing from Tokyo/Narita to Mexico City between Friday and Tuesday will switch to the Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Aeromexico had been operating flights from Mexico City via Monterrey since September 2014 but switched to a direct route in January 2016. Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) also operates a daily round trip on the Tokyo/Narita – Mexico City route with the Boeing 787 aircraft.
