The Peninsula Merchandising Japan will sell ‘mooncakes’.
Aiming for the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 17th, they will sell ‘The Peninsula Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes’, imported from Hong Kong, at The Peninsula Boutique & Café. The prices include tax, with a four-pack at 4,888 yen and an eight-pack at 8,888 yen, with flavored mooncakes also available. Products include mini mooncakes (red bean paste with mandarin peel for 8,288 yen, tea selection for 7,288 yen), and a Star Chef Mooncake Gift Box for 18,888 yen.
The sales outlets are located inside The Peninsula Tokyo and also include the Marunouchi Building store, the Isetan Shinjuku store, and the Matsuya Ginza store, for a total of four stores. In addition, these mooncakes will also be sold at the online stores of Mitsukoshi Isetan, Matsuya, Takashimaya, and Tokyu Department Store. They will be released sequentially from mid-August.
The Peninsula Tokyo will also offer a “Hei Fung Terrace Special Mooncake” made by its dim sum chefs, available only by pre-order. The sale period is from August 17th to September 17th. The pickup times are from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (until 6:00 PM on Mondays). The prices include tax, with a four-pack at 4,500 yen and an eight-pack at 8,400 yen. These require refrigeration and cannot be shipped.
