Hoshino Resorts Tomamu is offering the ‘Salmon Journey’ accommodation plan, filled with all things salmon, from September 1st to October 30th.
The guest rooms, known as ‘Salmon Rooms,’ feature furniture and accessories designed with salmon fillets and whole salmon. In addition, amenities such as lotion and emulsion containing astaxanthin, a component found in salmon, and a ‘Salmon Sauna’ with salmon-themed designs are also available. Meals include a ‘Salmon Dinner’ course meal that makes use of various parts of the salmon prepared through different cooking methods such as grilling, boiling, frying, freezing, and smoking; as well as a breakfast of grilled salmon and salmon roe soy sauce over rice called ‘Salmon and Salmon Roe Parent-Child Rice Bowl.’
Furthermore, under the guidance of a guide, guests can experience two activities: a ‘Salmon Walk’ along the Mu River where salmon swim upstream, and ‘Salmon SUP YOGA,’ which expresses the growth process of salmon through the entire body.
The price starts from 89,600 yen per person based on double occupancy, including tax and service charge. Limited to one group per day.
