Manpei Hotel has soft-opened its Main Dining Room in the Alps building, the Café Terrace, a Shop, and newly rebuilt guest rooms in the Atagokan building on August 16.
Celebrating its 130th anniversary since its founding in 1894, Manpei Hotel has been promoting extensive renovation and reconstruction projects under the concept of “Manpei Hospitality Bridging 130 Years ~Weaving Culture, History, and Nature~”.
This renovation has introduced a natural hot spring bath in all 30 guest rooms of the Atagokan building, embedding motifs that evoke the distinct characteristics of Manpei Hotel throughout. The Alps building’s Main Dining Room has been refurbished into a brighter and more open dining space, while preserving its large stained glass and coffered ceiling motifs. For dinner, a new signature course “Keyaki” along with locally sourced courses and à la carte options are offered. The Alps building’s Shop is selling a new item, “Manpei Hotel Premium Cookie Tin,” to commemorate the soft opening.
Furthermore, from September 24 for some time, the entire hotel will temporarily close to prepare for the grand opening, which is planned for early autumn.
