ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kanazawa is offering the “Xmas Afternoon Tea Set – Santa Land” from November 1st to December 15th.
The tea set includes 12 types of Christmas-themed sweets such as Santa Claus, candles, trees, and Tomte, in addition to 2 types of savory dishes. The menu features sweets such as ‘Santa Candle: Almond Milk Blancmange’, ‘Noel Reindeer: Chestnut Financier and Chocolate Mousse’, ‘Star Tree: Matcha Mascarpone Mont Blanc’, and for the savory dishes, a plate combining mini burgers, etc., as well as the choice of either ‘Chicken Blanket Baked in Pastry’ or ‘Scallops and Shrimp with Beet Raspberry Gelée Xmas Leaf Salad’.
The place is the Cascade Lounge on the first floor. It’s available from 1 PM to 5 PM for a 2-hour period. Reservation is required by the day before. The price is 5,500 yen.
Furthermore, from December 16th to 25th, a sweets plate featuring a selection of 6 kinds of sweets from the afternoon tea set will be available. The price is 2,500 yen for the plate only, or 3,000 yen with a drink, including tax and service charge.
