IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced that The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa will join the Vignette Collection. The hotel is scheduled to become a member within the next few months.
Owned by the Meikai Group, The Windsor Hotel Toya Resort & Spa features 386 guest rooms. It offers panoramic views of Lake Toya and the Pacific Ocean and was the venue for the G8 Lake Toya Summit. The property includes eight meeting rooms, nine dining options, three shops, a wedding chapel, gym, salon, and hot springs.
The Vignette Collection is a collection of luxury and lifestyle brands, and this will be the second property in Japan to join the collection, following the RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka. This marks IHG Hotels & Resorts’ fifth property in Hokkaido, with the InterContinental Sapporo set to open in 2025.
