Hospitality Operations has rebranded and opened “Smile Hotel Sakuranbo Higashine” on November 29. This is the first Smile brand hotel in Yamagata Prefecture.
The building is eight stories high. The hotel offers 96 rooms in total, with 82 single rooms, 8 double rooms, and 6 twin rooms. All rooms feature beds from Simmons Company and are equipped with smart TVs. The hotel provides a free parking lot for 40 vehicles, a restaurant, coin laundry, vending machines for drinks, and an ice machine. For breakfast, a buffet of Yamagata-prefecture-sourced rice and local cuisine is served.
An exclusive “Smile Hotel Sakuranbo Higashine OPEN Commemoration Plan” is available on the official website until February 28, 2025. Prices start at 5,500 JPY per person for a room without meals, and from 6,300 JPY per person with breakfast for two people sharing a room.
The hotel is located about a 3-minute walk from JR Sakuranbo Higashine Station, about a 10-minute drive from the Tohoku Chuo Expressway Higashine Interchange (IC), and approximately 10 minutes by car from Yamagata Airport.
