Dormy Inn Wakkanai is set to reopen on December 25 after undergoing renovations.
The hotel had been closed since October 1 for renovation work. The renovation includes installation of auto-loyly in the saunas for both men and women, conversion of all room keys to card keys and introduction of quick check-in machines for smoother procedures. Additionally, all guest rooms have been converted to non-smoking, air conditioning units have been replaced, and a new menu will be introduced at breakfast.
Two types of rooms, double and twin, are available, and the hotel features separate natural hot spring public baths called “Tenboku no Yu” for men and women. Additionally, a breakfast buffet that includes an all-you-can-eat seafood bowl is provided.
