Mitsui Sumitomo Trust Club will impose restrictions on the facilities available for use with the “Priority Pass” accompanying each Diners Club card from April 1.
While all partner facilities are currently accessible, from the mentioned date, facilities pertaining to dining, refreshment, and relaxation within Japan will be excluded from the program, allowing only lounge facilities to be used domestically. Internationally, the use of dining, refreshment, and lounge facilities will remain available as before.
The background for these changes is an increase in the usage of excluded facilities within domestic lounges and cases where multiple facilities are used at once, which has hindered the operation of the intended lounge services.
