ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Osaka to Cease Operations Due to Lease Expiration
Mercure Kyoto Station will offer a ‘Strawberry-Loaded Afternoon Tea’ loaded with strawberries from January 7 to April 30.
Blending strawberries with the uniqueness of Kyoto, a total of 13 items are prepared, including 9 strawberry-themed and 4 berry-themed menus, inspired by the hotel’s concept and incorporating unique sweets and savory items.
For example, the menu includes ‘Marimo – White Chocolate and Strawberry Mousse with Matcha Flavor’ inspired by the hotel’s art and design, ‘Strawberry Daifuku’ served open-style inspired by Kyoto’s famous sweet, ‘Yatsuhashi’, and for savory items, ‘Kyoto Green Onion and Saikyo Miso Quiche – with Strawberry’ using Kyoto green onion and Saikyo miso, and ‘Strawberry and Yuba – Caprese Style’ with balsamic accent modeled after yuba as Caprese cheese.
This time, the serving style has been revamped, featuring photogenic wooden boxes. The drink menu includes eight types of tea including Sri Lanka’s finest organic tea ‘Heaven Scent’ and various coffees, all available for unlimited consumption.
The location is ‘TRATTORIA M KYOTO’, available from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM with last orders at 3:00 PM. The seat is for 120 minutes and drinks for 90 minutes. The price is 4,950 yen, tax and service charge included.
