Greater Bay Airlines has launched a new route from Hong Kong to Yichang on December 17.
The service operates three round trips weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight from Hong Kong takes 2 hours, while the return flight from Yichang takes 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Yichang is a city in the western part of Hubei Province, which welcomed over 110 million tourists domestically and internationally in 2023. With the addition of this route, Greater Bay Airlines has expanded its destinations in mainland China to include three cities: Zhoushan, Huangshan, and now Yichang.
