Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi has undergone a complete renovation of its guest rooms and is set to reopen on December 27th.
The rooms have been redesigned to accommodate more than two guests, embracing a theme that reflects the culture of wabi-sabi. They feature walls inspired by traditional plasterwork and carpets that evoke the stone paving of Nihonbashi. The use of khaki, purple, and grey tones, along with indirect lighting on the headboards, creates an atmosphere where the charm of old-town scenery and modern architecture coexist.
The lobby lounge has been updated to unify the heights of the counter and pantry, with the floor decorated with arrow patterns inspired by the intersecting bridges and streets of Nihonbashi. In February, art will be added to various areas throughout the hotel.
