JR Bus Kanto and Ko-Ei Transportation Begin Operation of Omiya, Kawagoe, Takasaki to Kusatsu Onsen Route Starting February 1

JR Bus Kanto and Ko-Ei Transportation are set to begin operating the “Omiya, Kawagoe, Takasaki to Kusatsu Onsen (Yumeguri Kawagoe, Omiya)” express bus starting from February 1.

This new route is a result of an alliance agreement between the two companies, with Ko-Ei Transportation operating buses in the JR Bus Kanto colors and JR Bus Kanto providing expertise and marketing strategies.

The service is a renovation of Ko-Ei Transportation’s previous “Furu Line Kusatsu Onsen”, and tickets will be sold through the “Express Bus Net”, a collaborative platform operated by various JR Bus companies.

Ticket prices are set at 2,500 yen for departures from Takasaki Station, and 4,000 yen for departures from in front of Omiya Sonic City and the west exit of Kawagoe Station. Advance purchase fares are also available.
