Etihad Airways Introduces Airbus A380 on Abu Dhabi-Singapore Route
Etihad Airways began deploying the Airbus A380 on the Abu Dhabi-Singapore route from February 1.
This move coincides with the reintroduction of their sixth Airbus A380, making Singapore the fourth city after London/Heathrow, New York/John F. Kennedy, and Paris/Charles de Gaulle to be served by this aircraft.
The Airbus A380 features The Residence with 3 suites, 9 First Apartments, 70 Business Studios, and 405 Economy Smart Seats. Additionally, it includes 80 Economy Space Seats with a generous seat pitch of up to 36 inches. The Residence is offered as an option that can be used by paying an additional fee after purchasing a First Class ticket. The Lobby, an exclusive lounge, is available for First and Business Class passengers.
This marks the first time Etihad Airways’ Airbus A380 has flown to Singapore, responding to increasing demand by adding over 700 seats per week.
