
Turkish Airlines Cancels Some Flights from February 19 to 22 Due to Bad Weather in Istanbul
Japan Airlines (JAL) will raise the fuel surcharge for international flights for tickets issued from April.
The surcharge is determined based on the two-month average market price of Singapore kerosene, converted into yen using the average exchange rate over the same period. For December to January 2025, the average market price of Singapore kerosene was 90.66 USD per barrel and 1 USD was 155.03 yen, making the yen conversion amount 14,103 yen.
For tickets issued between April 1 and May 31, from Japan, the surcharge per one-way trip will be 3,500 yen for South Korea and Far East Russia, 8,500 yen for East Asia excluding South Korea and Mongolia, 11,000 yen for Guam, Palau, the Philippines, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Russia (Irkutsk), 18,000 yen for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Russia (Novosibirsk), 21,000 yen for Hawaii, Indonesia, India, and Sri Lanka, and 33,000 yen for North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania excluding Hawaii.
