Hotel Mystays Kanazawa Katamachi Completes Room Renovations by March 20

Mystays Hotel Management will complete the renovation of all guest rooms at Hotel Mystays Kanazawa Katamachi by March 20.

The concept is a “space that incorporates elements of traditional crafts within a neutral design,” featuring a calm color palette that evokes the warmth of wood. Inspired by Kanazawa’s traditional craft of “gold leaf,” the rooms feature art and wallpaper, with a refreshing blue as an accent. Renovations began in July 2024, with sales starting from the completed floors.

Five new room types have been added: family room, standard twin, queen, double, and semi-double. The rooms can accommodate up to four guests, catering to group travel. The number of rooms has increased from 202 before the renovation to 234 after.

Since the end of January, breakfast has been revamped from a bento format to a buffet, offering more than 40 kinds of dishes including local Kanazawa specialties like Hanton Rice, Kanazawa Oden, Kanazawa Curry, and Jibuni stew.

Access is approximately 8 minutes by car from JR Kanazawa Station East Exit. The hotel is located in Katamachi, in the heart of Kanazawa city.
