Hakone Kowakien Yunessun has undergone major renovations of Former Yu Mori-no-Yu and will reopen at 11:00 a.m. on March 20.
The lobby and relaxation area have been revamped. The lobby is adorned with decorations inspired by lattices, chests, and lanterns. The adjacent lounge space offers cold drinks, ice cream, and sweets to enjoy after a bath. The relaxation area at the back of the lobby is equipped with a two-level “retreat space,” reclining seats, and sofa seating with consideration for privacy. Another relaxation area features laid-back mats and approximately 3,000 volumes of the latest comics.
