Hainan Airlines will open the Osaka/Kansai-Chongqing route on March 30.
The airline will operate four round-trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The equipment used will be the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight duration is 4 hours and 40 minutes from Osaka/Kansai, and 3 hours and 50 minutes from Chongqing.
Xiamen Airlines operates three weekly round-trips on the same route. Additionally, Hainan Airlines operates flights from Osaka/Kansai to Beijing and Shenzhen, and will resume the Osaka/Kansai-Haikou route from April 1.
